My friends and I only have a few hours to spend at the DDay beaches. Which one or two of the list of great options so you recommend as the must see?

Assuming you're from the US, I agree - the Omaha Beach memorial, and the Cemetery. If you can, be at the cemetery for the flag-lowering ceremony - that was the high point for us.

Are you American, Canadian or British?
We did Gold, Juno and Sword all in one day, with the focus being the Juno Beach Centre and the Canadian Cemetery at Bény-sur-Mer.

If I only had a few hours I'd start with the American Cemetery at Omaha Beach and then go to Pointe du Hoc.
