daytrip from Reims to Troyes

I plan to take the train from Reims to Troyes. According to the SNCF website, the less expensive tickets (7:40 am & 9:35 am) are via Chalons-en-Champagne where there is a 10 minute connection time to transfer to a bus.

If you have travelled this route, it would be great to hear from you ! How far do you need to walk to catch the bus? If it's comparable to other train stations in Europe, the bus is usually just outside the train station. Is this the case for Chalons-en-Champagne?

I'm not specifically familiar with the Châlons-en-Champagne train station, but just like at any station, yes, catching a connecting bus is easy. All you need to do is exit the station and find the bus stops, which are usually just a few dozen meters away at most.

By spinning this Street View around, you can see the train station and the plaza out front, along with all the bus stops that make up the bus terminal. You'll just need to find the right bus stop, which shouldn't be very complicated. Normally, the front of the bus will display its TER number matching the one on your reservation.
