Other than Versailles, what day trips do you recommend? Thanks!
Chartres if you like cathedrals.
Chantilly - Chateau with art museum, horse museum.
There are SO many! Reims and Chateau vaux le vicomte come to mind that I don’t yet see suggested.
This is a much asked question and filling in the Search function above this page with Daytrips Paris it will generate a whole lot of answers. You will be surprised how much there is to do and see within easy reach of Paris.
Giverny you if you are a Monet fan or Auvers-sur-oise if you like Van Gogh.
The Monet house in Giverny is closed in February
Better to stick with towns like Chartres or site with a lot to offer like Chantilly. Gray-skied northern France can be pretty bleak in February.
Fontainebleau to see the town and especially the historic Chateau de Fontainebleau.
