DAy trip from Paris to Giverney to Auvers-sur Oise to Paris

My 2 traveling companions and I want to take a day trip from Paris to Giverney to Auvers-sur-Oise and back to Paris. Tour companies
seem to be expensive. I am thinking of taking the train to Giverney then a taxi to Auvers-sur-Oise and a train back to Paris. I have also found a very reasonable tour company Budgetourism. Anyone have any advise or have you used this company? Thank you.

Our family took the train to Giverney and then walked to Monet's hoouse & gardens.
We didn't have any problems. Taxis are available to get you from the train station to the garden. We just wanted to walk.
Then we just walked back to the train station and back to Paris.
I think get to Auvers-sur-Oise will take a little over an hour by taxi.
Maybe there is a bus or train that goes there.
I would check the website www.rome2rio.com, it has helped our family on several vacations.
Enjoy your adventure.

The train from Paris stops in Vernon - not Giverny. The direct trains are timed to meet the efficient shuttle bus to Giverny.

If you take the 8:20 train from Paris you will arrive as soon as the gardens open and can easily be done before noon - may even 11:00 if it's not very crowded. Be sure to check the return times for the shuttle bus to Vernon.

Then getting to Auvers will be a challenge. A taxi would probably be very expensive, and it will take over 2 hours to return to Paris and then take another train to Auvers.

Is there any way you can do these on 2 separate days? I think that it would be exhausting to do both in one day.
