A few years ago I went on a tour recommended by Rick with a guy who does a van full of people from Bayeaux of the D Day Beaches. He's a retired man who speaks wonderful English and is from the Netherlands, I think.t was an amazing tour and I forgot his name and contact info. Any help?

I think his name is Elwood (or double L?). He was so much into history he practically played it like an actor.

The person referred to in the previous reply is Ellwood von Seibold, and he does lead tours in Normandy. He could be the one you're referring to, but I believe he's from England. Have a look at his website for a closer look.....
