We will be on a cruise that stops in the Port of LeHavre, France for one day in mid-July and would like to visit the D-Day attractions on that day. Does anyone have advice on doing this alone? If not able to do this on our own, does anyone have a tour guide to recommend for visiting these attractions. Thank you.

It's not easy on your own, with only three buses per day between Le Havre and Caen, for instance. www.normandy-sightseeing-tours.com is another recommended tour company, charging about 750 euros for a full day for a group of 4 - 8 travelers.
