I was in Nice about 10 years ago and found a phenomenal custom jewelry shop like I've never seen before. I want to recommend it to a friend who is soon to travel there, but don't remember the name of the shop. You walk up and get a number and wait until is called. The number is displayed outside. Place was packed, and the wait was about half hour. It had old fashioned shop windows where all the merchandise available in the store was displayed, but stored behind the counters. The inside of the store is very small and you wait outside. When your number is called, a woman helps you out, and you point out the things you want, and she fetches them. The shop was on a walking street, close to the water, not far from the daily market. Anyone familiar with this shop and can tell me the name?

Jake, that sounds exactly like Abysse in Nice. It is a very small shop, they have merchandise in the windows and inside behind the counters, and it is near the water. Prices are affordable and the shop is very popular. It is located at 17 Avenue Jean Medicin. The tram runs down the middle of the road and cars are not allowed so to make it a better experience for walking.
