Current taxi fare/transportation options from LYS to Vieux Lyon?

Hi! I've searched in this in the forum but didn't find much current info.
We're traveling to Lyon-Saint Exupéry Airport next week and need transport from there to our Airbnb in the Vieux Lyon area.
Our host said they can book a taxi for us, but we want to make sure we understand more about the area and prices for local transport before asking them to do that.
Our Airbnb host says it's about 45 minutes by taxi and that they can book a van for us at 90€. They also said that the train would be more expensive for 6 ppl (about 100€ plus a taxi (30€) from the pardieu station).

What is the current taxi fare for that area? Is 90€ for a van for 6 ppl a fair price?
I see that Uber is available from the airport... we use that here in the states for its convenience, so I guess that would also be an option?
And I'm sure there are buses... is that a hassle and would it take much longer than a taxi? There are 6 people in our group, and we all travel with only a carry-on and a backpack (so no large luggage). We'd either need to split into two taxis or find a van.

Thanks in advance for helping us figure this out!

The host is right about the train, which costs a little bit more than €15pp and only gets you to Part-Dieu station.

As for the taxi fare, the airport is far away, but I think the quote of 90€, while not crazy, is a hair steep. A regular cab to Vieux-Lyon is about 55-60€ in the daytime and 70€ on Sundays or after 7PM. Then there is a surcharge for the 5th and 6th passengers, 3€/each IIRC.

The "train" (Rhône Express, a tram really) is the only viable public transportation to/from Saint Exupéry. I'm in Lyon now and the prices you're quoted sound about right. We (2 of us) paid about 60 € for a regular taxi from airport to middle of the city, so wanting a van for more people, and going to Vieux Lyon which is further, would definitely cost more. I'd recommend the van option: given the number of people, it really isn't expensive, and will be far simpler.
