We'll be in Paris next week and already have our tickets for the apartments tour at Versailles but I read somewhere that there are some closures related to the train to Versailles? Does anyone know the current status or what precisely the closures are? Thanks!

Check the website for the completion date, but there will be no trouble getting to Versailles. They are doing construction on the RER C line between Gare d'Austerlitz and Javel station on the other side of Champ de Mars/Tour Eiffel. So just take the Metro No 10 line to Javel to get the trains to Versailles running on the normal schedule.

Just came back and took the train from Paris to Versailles. The closures were not a really big deal. They involve closures due to construction on some of the metro lines within Paris that you'll need to get to the station where the train leaves for Versailles. The delay depends on where you are staying in Paris. Just give yourself some extra time to get there on the Paris metro. Once you are on the train to Versailles, its an easy and pleasant experience.
