What’s the dress code around major attractions in France? Will slight revealing dresses be ok? Any tips?

People dress all kinds of ways in Paris, and other major attractions. If you are planning to go into churches there, you may want to bring a sweater or scarf to wear inside. I have not encountered any dress codes for Parisian churches (as there usually are in Italy), but it is respectful to be more modestly dressed.

Everything goes.. but in churches don't go strapless. My daughter was wearing a sundress that was strapless and she was admonished.. but her friend was wearing SHORTS( short shorts) and a SPAGETTI STRAP tank top and nothing was said to her.. My daughters dress was to her bloody knees too..lol
We ignored the lady and just walked in ( they don't stop you ) but dd did put her bf sweater around her shoulders .

Everywhere else no one cares.. obviously don't go to dinner at a nice place in shorts and flip flops and a wife beater. .

I always wear sundresses ( with straps but no sleeves) and have never looked the least out of place.. jeans are fine too ( but hot)

Take a look in the mirror.
If you see something that would embarrass your mother, perhaps you should change.

Seriously, if you wear a very low-cut dress, or something very short, transparent and / or tight-fitting, you might feel uncomfortable because people will be staring at you - a lot.

If you take public transportation, you might find unwelcome "attouchements" - people do take advantage of crowded trains to get "up close and personal" with women. It can be a big problem.

A normal sundress or sleeveless top and normal shorts would be fine, though.

This is called "frottage" - a very French word!

Well, not everyone will "se frotter"... but inappropriate touching is much more common.

Some people are just creepy - in any language!

What does wearing a "slight revealing dress" have to do with Cultural Mix? I have to wonder if this is even a serious question.

I can think of a couple of tips, that may be self evident, if you choose to wear a revealing dress. I always carry a roll of double sided tape in case of any wardrobe malfunctions.
