Covid requirements coming into Paris - Vaccination status

The Covid requirements coming into Paris seem confusing and contradictory on different websites we have researched. Can anyone tell me what is required to fly on Airfrance and enter Paris from the United States? It says if you are fully vaccinated you just have to show proof of vaccination. I am wondering what defines fully vaccinated. We had our 2nd Covid vaccine back in November and December, so have not gotten the booster yet since it has not been 6 months since our last dose of the vaccine. Are we considered fully vaccinated? If we do not get the booster, do we need to show a negative Covid test before we leave?

We are leaving in a week to go to Paris then London and then northern England. Any information would be helpful.

We returned from Paris on a round-trip on Air France. AF sent an e-mail before each leg of the flight concerning what is needed. When all forms are completed and uploaded, and your boarding pass will have "ready to fly" on it after uploading the forms cutting time needed through lines. Leaving the USA, you will need to upload a copy of your vaccination form and completed form needed by the French. We brought paper copies for insurance and in case they were requested. We had digital copies on our phone. To return, they (because the USA requires it to enter USA) require a completed covid test result taken a day before the flight home. This can be done at a pharmacy in France. They will e-mail the results and give you a paper copy if requested. Check on how this is done in the UK. The AF form asks you to drag and drop negative results and USA covid immunization files into their form and return the form on-line. Once done, you can request your boarding pass and it will have "ready to fly" on it. We took paper copies of all the documents, negative test, and forms and had them ready if needed. We also had the completed French form ready to turn in. You might read messages on this forum abut methods to use an on-line proctored test that does not require a visit to a facility. You will need to do this in time to receive the test kits sent to you. Some of our travel group did this with their family. Unfortunately, there was a young woman wo did not understand she needed a negative covid test result to enter the USA and was denied entry on the AF flight. Read the AF e-mail to you carefully. This does take some time on your last day to get tested and get the info uploaded. IMHO, it about time to eliminate this requirement for fully vaccinated citizens as they have done in Europe.

Without a booster, you are NOT considered fully vaccinated by France.

You would need to have a negative Covid test to board your flight and enter France.

what defines fully vaccinated

Those fully vaccinated have completed the original shot series and a mRNA booster. You are also considered fully vaccinated if you are within 9 months of receiving shot #2.

If you are not fully vaccinated under these guidelines, you must present a neg Covid test before boarding.

It appears all you need are your shot records which you present to your air carrier.
