Hi! We are planning to travel to France in December. Two of our children (one is an adult child) had COVID in September. The US recommends waiting 3 months to vaccinate after infection. That will not allow them time to get the second vaccine for the health pass.
France recognizes COVID-recovered for their citizens, allowing for just one vaccine, but I have not seen such an allowance for travelers. I am assuming our choices are:
1) Start the two-series asap for both.
2) Start the two-series for our adult son, but hope for the best for our 16 y/o, get her vaccinated a week before the trip and bring along her positive test results hoping she gets a pass, and we don’t have to get her tested every 72 hours. As a minor, she can move about under our vaccinated status, but stopping every 72 hours will be a pain.
Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you!
