What happens if you test positive right before your flight back to US? Do the French get involved or do you keep testing on your own until negative?

I read every responce on that thread (over a hundred), not one answered my question. cleartheair tested positive but provided no details on specifics of quarantine. If you test positive does the testing site share that info with the government? If so do they contact you and tell you what to do? Is it a hotel of your pick or theirs? How long? Thanks I'm going next week and want to have some preparation.
