Someone had suggested in the "romance" topic that they used Localers (www.localers.com) before to take some pictures of them around Paris. My wife and I will be in Paris late May for our 5th wedding anniversary (go ME!) and Im curious if anyone else has had semi-pro pictures done while in Paris. I think this would be a great suprise for my wife.

As a professional photographer myself I was curious to see what they were doing. My only comment would be that it was really rather vague about what you would be getting. I am sure it is a dvd with your images, but there was no indication of how many, etc. I have done a number of photo sessions for my clients while they were traveling Europe and I can tell you that it is a great time to have some memorable portraits taken. The price is pretty cheap as you are getting a tour as well, so it might make a nice surprise and at least you will have photos of both of you.
