After reading and replying to the Safety in France topic, I thought I would inquire about things to do, stay away from and safety for my 3 day trip to Ajaccio, Corsica. I hear the island is beautiful, but "rough" with its fair share of local turmoil. My French friend whom I'm staying with unfortunatly has to work, so I'll be exploring on my own for most of it. I'm sure He'll fill me in on the city, but I just wanted a tourist perspective. Thanks !
