Hello — we would very much appreciate thoughts on deciding between towns in Corsica to base out of for a trip in May in the south and middle of the island:
Bonafacio vs Porto Vecchio?
Corte vs. Bastelica?
We try to avoid areas that are too touristy. We enjoy visiting towns but also being out in nature (hiking, visiting the coast, etc).
We will have a car and plan to visit the towns we don’t stay in.
Thoughts on pros / cons of each is very much appreciated.
