my wife and I will stay in corsica for about 10 days, end of september/early october. we prefer waterfront accomodations with a balcony, near swimming/snorkelling , walking distance to shops/stores/restaurants. we would like to divide the 10 or 12 days between two different lodging. this will be our first time . nick from santa cruz

We are also going to Corsica in October. So you have not had any responses? We will only be there for probably 3 nights.

We just got home from a first trip to Sardinia, the big island south of Corsica. We stayed in one hotel and two airbnb apartments. For lots of help, as Rick Steves covers neither destination in his guidebooks, we used Lonely Planet and Rough Guide guidebooks for help. Your library may have copies, in addition to your bookstore.
