We (5 adults) have 6 nights to make this road trip. WE will be flying back to Marseille from Ajaccio after the 6 nights. Our flight is 700 am from Ajaccio! I wasn't planning on staying in Ajaccio but we will have to for the night prior to our flight.
I am thinking of splitting our accommodation into 2 areas of 2-3 nights each and would appreciate your input.
WE like views, easy hikes/walks, snorkelling, kayaking, wine on a lovely terrace, meeting locals and learning about their lovely island.
WE want to experience the following in a moderately paced if not slow-moderate pace. WE are definitely all about the experiences and not checking off tourist sites but having said that, these are the areas we would like to experience if time allows.
-Reserve Naturelle de Scandola
-Calanches de piana and Girolata
-Gorges de Spelunca and also Ota/Evisa. I am considering staying in OTA or Cargese - possible base? I am thinking the boat tour trips are closer from Porto or Cargese.
-Plage D'Arone (snorkel?)
-Vico - Caldanelle thermal baths
-Sanguinaires Islands at Sunset
-Propriano? - probably not enough time to do a day trip South of Ajaccio?
