Cooking classes?

Hi folks. I will be in Montpellier for a couple of weeks mid August. Does anyone know of any cooking classes or other fun things to do in Montpellier?
Thank you.

Here is an English-language link to the Office of Tourism: https://www.montpellier-france.com/

I don't know of any cooking classes; maybe the Tourism Office will know. August is vacation time, and it's hot. The museums are open: Fabre Art Museum, MOCO contemporary art museum, Museum of Art Brut, several historical, regional, cultural museums. There are always music festivals going on in the summer that the Office of Tourism will have on its website or be able to tell you when you go into its office on the Place de la Comedie.

You can take a lot of day trips: Nimes for Roman sites and museum, Sete for seafood and traditional festivals along the water, the beaches, the mountains behind Montpellier, and you can wander the tiny streets of the Montpellier historical quarter. It's an hour by train to Arles, while Narbonne is even closer.

A lot of locals are gone at this time of year to cooler places in the mountains, at the beach, or just further north in Europe.
