Cooking Class in Paris for Children 9 and 12 years old

What Paris cooking classes would you recommend for children 9 and 12 years old that already know their way around the kitchen? Classes needs to be in English and preferable hands on, not a cooking demonstration. TripAdvisor list to many to sort thru and choose from. Does anyone have first hand experience? Thanks for your help!

Hi wwd1944, I enjoyed the class I took at La Cuisine Paris. The specific class was Le Croissant and Breakfast Pastries class. The class was fun, informative, presented in English and you took away some of everything you baked! The actual dough we used was already made for us as croissant dough takes several hours of chilling and resting, but the chef walked us through mixing the dough and showed us each of the steps to make our own dough, we just didn't bake the dough we made. I know there are several different classes available and the schedule of classes available changes from month to month. I want brunch to take the Macaron class the next time I am in Paris!

We loved Cookin with class. They have a large variety of classes .. One only for kids, but children can cook with adults I believe. One that is interesting is a market class where we visited an outdoor food market, picked out items and returned to cook and eat a meal.Check out their website. The have bread classes, dessert classes, and many more.

Here's a list of English-speaking courses:

And one for kids:

The prices are steep, but if you and your kids are really interested in French food - and not just making macarons and fooling around with pre-made dough - it's worth it. The instructors all speak English, so can help anyone who needs it.
