Cook ‘n with class

May 2023
We were not asked to write a review, but we would like to share our enthusiasm for this program; ours was the dinner. The chef is full of personality and fun, he is serious about his food and he answers questions from the students. The shopping was just lovely and educational. The cooking was the right amount of hands on as time runs by quickly, and you do want to eat before the 10:30 conclusion of class. I have never had such simply prepared lamb, sear one side, throw on some rosemary, put in the oven, then eat! I am sure a good product played a role, but this is one of the best meat dishes we have had this week in France. I simply cannot think of any negatives, oh, we did not get any wine until after we were done cooking; oh well : ))

I, too, have done classes here, and other places in Paris. The only one to come close or equal to, alas (Reed restaurant) is closed. I just did the Marie Antoinette class and the sauce class in the fall and both were great classes (I did a sauce class with competitions a few years ago so really do have a measuring stick) and truly done with class. I highly recommend these cookin classes. I am registered for one in September with a friend, though I have done them solo too and they are great fun. I have come back and recreated what we did there with the recipes we were given.
