I have been searching for specific details about the hours of operation and things to do in Bernay, France. I found the city's tourism page (http://www.bernaytourisme.fr/abbatiale-notre-dame--page-39.html) and downloaded the abbey pamphlet but I cannot find out when the abbey of Notre-Dame is open. The site does provide a telephone number for private or group tours. Is this the only way to visit the church?

Since your page link is directing individuals to enquire at the museum, visits are probably only available during the same hours that the museum is open. According to Google Maps, it's open 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and closed Mondays. It's not necessarily a tour - they may just go and unlock the door for you. (Groups would book further ahead through the Tourist Office since groups usually have more need to plan ahead.)
