Connection window for TGV trains

We're going from Amboise to London, changing trains first in St Pierre des corps. It's a 13 minute connection time to change trains to the TGV in St Pierre around 7am. Is this reasonably do-able with a roller bag and backpack? Will the TGV train be waiting or does it pull in/pull out?

We then change stations in Paris to transfer to the Eurostar. If we miss the connection in St Pierre is the rest of our trip invalidated? We will have the least expensive tickets. Not sure if we should risk it with the first connection or book something else. Thanks for your assistance!

13 minutes should be plenty of time. It's a small station and is mainly the TGV Tours station. Your connection is probably coming from further south. What about your connection to the Eurostar? Is it in Paris? If so, you will need to get from Montparnasse station in Paris to Gar du Nord. You should have at more than 1 hour to make the transfer and have the 1/2 hour minimum check-in time for the Eurostar. Are you ticketed on a single thru ticket? that makes a difference.
Edit- Its a relatively straight forward connection on the No 4 Metro line. Keep time to allow purchase of Metro tickets.
Edit- Oops No 4. not No 1.

I think that the first reply should say Metro Line 4. Line 1 does not go to Gare du Nord. Nor does it go to Montparnasse.

Sam, I'm postponing buying the ticket until I can book straight thru from Amboise to London. If I'm on one ticket and we miss the St Pierre connection, what happens when I get to Eurostar in Paris? I guess I'm already trying to mentally formulate a plan B!

This particular scenario has just under a 2 hour connection window in Paris. It will be morning rush so we'll probably take a taxi?

Susan, Thirteen minutes should be plenty of time. Pesonally, if I had that route, I would book that ticket. On the other hand, I would avoid a taxi during rush hour and stick with the metro, even if crowded. Rush hour is also when trucks are making deliveries, road work is going on, etc. By the way, Ryanair flies from Tours to that airport outside London. Might be faster, easier, and and cheaper.
