Is a 2 hour 25 minute layover enough time for a connecting flight in Paris at Charles DeGaulle airport?
Probably with the usual caution of your first flight being on time or nearly so. All one ticket???
From where to where? Checked in luggage or not?
We are potentially flying Newark to Paris connecting to Nuremberg Germany. All one ticket with one backpack carry on.
And one checked bag.
that is plenty of time. You do the whole thing airside, checked bags go right on through you don't collect those and passport control occurs in the process of getting to your terminal and you share it only with other connecting passengers. Once you know your terminals, go on line and look for precise directions for making the transfer (some airside transfers involve a shuttle bus). It is comforting to know exactly where you need to go and what you need to do before doing this. But the time you have is generous. Follow the yellow correspondence signs to your terminal and gate. The only way this gets screwed up if your plane is on time is if you exit with passengers going to Paris and get outside the airside security zone.
Usually planes from the US are a bit early but not always -- ours was two hours late last fall -- in that case, you'd not make the flight but the airline would be prepared to assist you get there. With the time you have, your plane could be an hour late and you still would probably make it if you stepped lively.
