Hello - When you go to their website they allow you to buy tickets. However, there is not option to print the tickets. It says you can pick them up at one of 1400 locations in Paris. I've never encountered this when buying museum tickets. How do you actually purchase advance tickets for the museum? There's not much on this in Rick's Paris book. If anyone has a link that would be great!! Thanks!
It is a print at home ticket or show on a mobile device.
You should get a PDF in your email

The musee's website says this (no need to visit an FNAC store):
You can print out tickets purchased in advance and enter the museum through the reserved entrance (entrance C). The museum entrance ticket is valid for 3 months. Please note: tickets bought online cannot be picked-up at the museum.
One thing you can do if you like is buy ticket for the lunchtime classical concert that they have at D'Orsay, you then get into the museum for no extra charge. PLUS you do not have to stand in line to get into the museum. Just a thought
