Confirmation of Train Cancellation - Turin to Paris - 28 Nov 2023

Hi.

I am booked on INOUI train 9240 from Turin to Paris on 28 Nov. 2023. I am aware that, due to a landslide in August, that route is currently suppressed. I just received an email from SNCF stating that "Votre train 9240 du 28/11 départ à 07:36 à destination de PARIS GARE DE LYON est supprimé en raison d'un obstacle sur la voie."

However, the train appears to be still operating as per the SNCF website: https://www.sncf.com/en/booking-itinerary/search-train-number/train-details/9240?codeCirculation=0198d1731693b6899716f4ebfa05fab7&codeZoneArret=OCE83016451&date=11%2F28%2F2023

Can anyone tell me how to be 100% confident that the train, which is still more than a month away, is officially cancelled? I would need to book alternative transportation ASAP.

Thank you.

I saw some news reports: the line will not reopen until some time next year!
You can book something else. Flights from Turin to Paris are expensive, but there are cheaper flights from Malpensa airport and there are buses from Turin to Malpensa.

Due to the landslide the train line between France and Italy is stopped at least until summer 2024.

The information was confirmed by the prefect of Savoie last Friday at a press conference.
