Concerts in the church of Ste Germaine de Pres

Last time I was in Paris, I stayed in an Airbnb right behind the church. I wandered in on a Friday evening and they were having a rehearsal for a performance and it cost me nothing to sit there and listen - and I think I enjoyed it even more than the official performance!

We have been to jazz concerts in the church and a baroque concert in the chapel -- The chapel while of historic importance has all the charm of a barn -- a big stone room. The church nave is stunning and a marvelous place for a concert. So make sure WHERE it is not just the Church of St Germain de Pres but whether it is in the chapel or not.

FWIW, you have given St. Germain a sex change. HE not she (Germaine) was a bishop and one of Paris's patron saints along with Genevieve whose relics are at the wonderful St. Etienne church by the Pantheon.
