We noticed Elton John is supposed to play in Paris in October. Are they really holding large arena concerts in Paris at the moment? We see shows starting in September, and wondered if this is really going on? Their website lists ticket availability for many shows. It does show Elton's shows sold out.

Yes. La Pass Sanitaire or PCR test to attend. We were at a symphony concert, inside an opera house, on Friday. It's not as dire as described for those of us living here.
As for hotels, here in the south, they are open and sold out, according to what my Bolt driver said on Saturday.
