Concerned about Strikes--Best of Paris Tour

Can anyone comment on the impact of the 2023 strikes in France on the Best of Paris Tour? I have read online that the Louvre, Versailles and the Orsay have all been closed and/or on very reduced schedules. Our tour starts on April 30.

We are also concerned about Air France's schedule from Vancouver BC Charles de Gaulle Airport. The website says they are "subject to last minute strike-related delays and/or cancellations." We had also planned to go to Barcelona after the Rick Steves Tour on high speed SNCF rail, whose website also states that one out of four trains are leaving on schedule.

Does anyone have any current information and/or perspective on the impact of the 2023 strikes on the Best of Paris Tour?

Thank you,

Patricia Fabiano

April 30 is in a while! Yesterday's protest was already less intense than previous ones. In my opinion, the strikes are very likely to wind down by the end of the month, and if they last until the end of next month that would be record-breaking.
It's impossible to entirely rule out strikes in France and the UK these days, but it is too soon to know or take any action.

The pension legislation passed in the Senate yesterday, and more people are realising that the changes will actually benefit them. I expect any noise about it in April will be just the usual noisy minority who claim to represent the silent majority.

@ Balso and Simon...thanks so much for your information and views on future strikes.

I'll also say to OP, IF there is a strike during your visit, the best situation is to be with an RS guide. They have the experience to flex and get the group around and can teach you how to manage as well. One of the best takeaways I had from my long ago Best of Paris tour was feeling so capable and comfortable on public transport.
