We want to go by train from London to Caen, Normandy. It looks like we have to go through Paris. Has anyone done this, or do you have information? It's really hard to figure out the on-line connections and schedules.

You have to book the tickets separately on the following sites:
Once you arrive from London at Paris Gare du Nord https://www.eurostar.com/us-en/trains
you will have to Take a taxi to Paris Gare St Lazare train station to catch the train to Caen.

Maybe Buy the ticket Paris Gare St Lazare to Caen when you get there.
