Combo tickets for Orangerie and Orsay Museums

I've been looking for these tickets for October and on Orangerie website there is no mention of a combo ticket with Orsay. Any suggestions to book directly and not through a tour company?

I feel like they don’t have combo tickets any more for the Orangerie and Orsay, which is a shame.

We experienced something similar while planning our visit to l’Orangerie last May. We were hoping to buy a l’Orangerie and Maison de Monet (Giverny) combo ticket in advance. That option was not possible on the museum website when we reserved our timed tickets for l’Orangerie.

Once there, I asked staff at the Orangerie ticket desk whether we could buy our Monet Garden tickets then, but were told no. They no longer sell combo tickets. I suspect they no longer do this because more and more (especially since COVID), museums want to manage crowds via timed tickets. It’s harder to do that with combo tickets, which were often for no particular time or date.

BTW, I would encourage you to reserve timed tickets for both museums when you are sure of your dates. We were so glad we reserved timed tickets for l’Orangerie. When we approached the museum, we saw a very long line of people needing to purchase tickets. Who knows how long it took to get in! We were able to walk in and enjoy the water lilies. But be warned, the museum was quite crowded.

THANKS for the replies! I will be booking tickets separately but they haven't released dates for Oct. yet. Hopefully by Oct. the crowds and weather will be better!

I found the Orangerie/Orsay "Carte Blanche Duo" for 65E on the Orsay site. It is good for a year of unlimited entrances for the purchaser and a guest. It would make sense only if you wanted to visit the Orangerie and the Orsay more than once within a year's time and to bring a guest each time. I plan to purchase single tickets for each site for 2 people for 57E.

Thank you for this post. Prompted me to check on dates/times for our October visit. L’Orangerie has a special Van Gogh exhibit with time slots, so helped me figure out our day for these two and entry times.
