Hey everyone, m.in process of planning ny itinerary from france to germany and not able to decide how to proceed for bookings..if yiu can assist in following, much appreciated.We are only using public transport,we have flexi eurail pass
1.We have 3 days for france villages,our first choice is Colmar ,but when i checked on rail app..it shows we have to go through strasburg and also we are coming from paris,in that scenario again strasburg comes first...So you reckon we stay in strasburg instead and do a tour of four villages with a tour company instead of staying in Colmar.Somewhere m tbinking if m not sayinv therr,i will miss something or strasburg is equallh beautiful and serene?Also i hvnt tbought much what we want to visit apart from villages like equishem,riquevir( and other two..cant spell)
2.Although we want to go Germany but nothing is booked yet and that too is a short trip for 4 days before proceeding to lauterbrunnen..( return flight from zurich),after reading on forum we are thinking to base in Garmisch or Oberstdorf..initially it was Fussen after reading steve guide..Any opinions whether its ok or something to change
