My husband and I are planning our first international trip in many years. Part of our trip will be in Alsace region. The last overnight is a few days in Colmar.
I'm looking for input on what airport - Basel or Strasbourg is easiest to get to? Price for flights is the same
Also, while in Colmar what are suggested car rental agency for day trip?

I think Basel is a bit bigger and getting there is easy enough, train to St Louis, then a short bus ride to the airport. There is an Avis location at Colmar train station.
Thanks for the input, we would be coming from Strasbourg on inbound flight and sprending a couple nights there first so it’s more so just the return flight.
Don't know anything about the Basel airport, but SXB is pretty small (so very manageable), and also easily accessible from the main train station via a pretty short trip. That's probably what I would prefer from Colmar.
