Well I screwed up my first post so let's try again.
Going to stay in Colmar France for a few days and was wondering if anyone might have some recommendations for Alsacian restaurants.

I quite enjoyed the food at Le Maison Rouge, and I believe they specialize in Alsatian dishes. It wasn't cheap but it sure was a fine meal.

Try Winstub Schwendi and Restaurant le Rapp. Both had very good food.

We also had a very nice dinner at le Maison Rouge. Winstub Schwendei became our hang out while in Colmar. We loved the big terrace with great people watching.

I'd also recommend Le Rapp. Don't know how I forgot that, especially as I was staying there.
