Four of us will be visiting Colmar in September and would like to arrange a wine tour one day. We would like to hire a private guide who will drive us to nearby villages - can anyone suggest the name of a guide and provide contact info?

The tourist bureau in Colmar sent me a packet of information by mail and it was very helpful. They might also have a name of a guide or a brochure with names. I was there for almost a week in April 2025.

Contact l''Alsaciette. I booked a 1 day tour with them in October 2022. I'm a solo traveler and there were 3 of us on the excellent day tour. They should be able to arrange a private tour for you if you don't want to book one of their small group tours

You might also visit Domaine Karcher, right in central Colmar. It dates back to 1602. They still process the grapes there. My sister & her husband and into wine (I’m not) and we popped in for a tasting one day. They chose several of pages and pages of options. They found one they really like and bought a bottle. The bottle cost about €7 and no charge for the generous tasting. My sister was shocked. She still talks about that wine.
There are wine shops everywhere in these towns.
