Considering a trip to the Alsase wine region in early December. Are the wineries open? Any recommendations?

Wine shops will certainly be open, but more important, the Christmas Markets will be open.

A few years ago we spent a week in Alsace in early December, in a small wine village (most villages in Alsace are wine villages). I think at least half the wineries in the village were open.
