Just returned from Colmar. Marvelous trip. The Hotel Quatorze was a recommendation in the 2018 Edition of France by Rick Steves, of course. I wanted to let you know my experience there was just stellar and first rate. It was such a beautiful suite. Suite 14. The top floor of the building. The shower was just fantastic: It had the heavy rain shower version over head, then 3 jets And a separate hand help showerhead as well. It was so so good. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Had an excellent sleep each night. Location is perfect. And the owner, named Catherine drove me to the train station herself. The day before my departure, I requested a taxi to be arranged to bring me to the train station. Instantly she offered to drive me herself. It was such a gracious gesture. And the woman at checkin Regine, was so friendly, and helpful. I really really was so pleased. Just wanted to share. Thanks for listening.
