We’ll be at the Ibis Colmar Centre next week just near the old town-any recommendations for a bakery for breakfast pastries and spots for a casual lunch and scenic outdoor dinner dining-thanks in advance… then off to my fav place, Wengen and the Lauterbrunnen valley-seventh trip there so no questions.

Don’t buy from Claude Kraetz. It’s in the Place Joan d’Arc in the old town part of Colmar. Awful. Just terrible. How anyone in the business could sell such stale, tasteless pastries is beyond me.

I can recommend the Wistub Brenner for dinner. Alsace cuisine. Reservations are a must.
