Good day all,
Any recommendations on places to eat in Colmar, where I will be basing myself there to explore the region and looking for a few options.
I am looking for authentic, inexpensive, fairly quick (I'll have my two kids) places to have a good meal and a drink.

I've eaten at several restaurants in Colmar, some of whose names I can't remember. But I can recommend Winstub Brenner, Restaurant La Soi and Bistro Gourmand. I don't know how inexpensive you mean, but I didn't think these were outrageous. I've also eaten at Le Fer Rouge and La Maison Rouge and both, although good, wouldn't be called inexpensive.

I've also been to Winnstub Brenner and recommend it.
However, it's not a quickie place--at least for dinner--and you need to make reservations.
