We will be in France in late June and are planning to spend 4-5 days in Paris. With the Olympics happening a month later, we knew this would be a unique time to be in Paris. Increasingly, this seems like a bad time to visit major landmarks -- venue construction underneath the Eiffel Tower, Champ de Mars closed, with Invalides, Trocadero, Concorde, and some bridges all eventually closed, etc. I also just saw the lower quays of the Seine will be closed off starting in mid-June. As sad as it is, this all makes sense -- they've got a major event to host and need to make sure areas are prepped and secured. Wondering if anyone has good resources to keep track of closures? I'd just assume not trek to certain spots in the city if they will be a nightmare navigating!
