I understand the financial benefit of buying the combo ticket for Musee d'Orsay at the Musee de L'Orangerie Paris. However, it is not clear to me if the combo ticket allows me to show up at Musee d'Orsay without having a timed entry ticket for a certain day/time. Can anyone set me straight on this question and if having the combo ticket means I am not required to have the timed entry ticket, is there a special line?

The combo ticket is good for 7 days. If you purchased it at the Musee de l’Orangerie, you can show up at the Musee d’Orsay and get in the line for those with tickets but without a timed slot. On the day I did this, it was the C1 line. It’s a much shorter line than the line for those without tickets, C2.
