If any of you have stayed in a Citadines apart-hotel in Paris in the last while, I wonder if you could please tell me your opinions about it/them?
And the location you were in.
They look a little better/ cleaner/safer than some of the other apartment-hotels I’ve seen advertised.
Thank you.
I recently stayed at the place d’itila location. (I’m sure I spelled that wrong.).
It was exactly as advertised. It was clean. I felt very safe. I would have no problems recommending it. Now, that said the apartments are not luxurious and there’s not a lot of fancy decor.
Thanks Carol.
I don’t need fancy, just clean with a little kitchenette.
They all look pretty good with good reviews.
The only thing putting me off is that I only see showers over bath tubs with no grab bars in the suites.
I prefer a walk in shower due to bad knees and hips….the last thing I I need is a broken limb!
I’ll keep looking…..
I stayed at one just north of the Gare de Lyon in 2023 and another in the city where we live in 2021 and would describe them exactly as Carol did. Clean, efficient, no bells and whistles.
Did you see a mobility impaired room? They certainly have them.
Thanks Elizabeth.
I’m not mobility impaired…I just find it awkward to lift legs over into a tub without grab bars.
As I travel mainly solo, I don’t want to get stuck in a tub, or slip!
I still don’t understand why, in all my many trips around the world, I’ve only ever seen grab bars once…in the shower in a non-descript hotel in Rome last September.
Maybe Europeans have better balance than we do. ;))
I stayed at the one in St Germain - perfect location. The hotel was bit dated and probably needs new carpet. Staff was helpful, free coffee in the lobby was appreciated. I would stay there again.
