I just wanted to share this information I received today from Oui.sncf: Chrismas Markets in Paris and Strasbourg.
I’ve not been there, at this time of year, but now I wish I had!

Your link is an SNCF advertisement. Much of the information contained therein is obsolete as the Champs Elysées market is cancelled. The market at la Défense may still be operational but you´ll not find much in Paris.

I didn’t realize that the information on the Oui. sncf newsletter was absolute.
After a bit of research I found this pertinent information on this website; Paris Discovery Guide:
The Champs-Élysées Christmas Market - the largest and most famous Marché de Noël in Paris - is reborn for 2018 (after being closed last year due to dispute between its organizer and the City of Paris) with a new name and in a new location: La Magie de Noël (The Magic of Christmas) in Tuileries Garden next to the Louvre.

Glad to see the big Paris market is back for 2018. Last Christmas/New Year we visited markets in Paris (La Defense), Strasbourg, Colmar in France, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Vienna in Austria. Wonderful!
