Once in Chinon, France, how can one get to Fontevrault Abbey? Is there a bus? Or is a taxi necessary? How far a walk is it?

You might LOVE http://www.rome2rio.com/s/Fontevraud-l-Abbaye/Chinon The website is very helpful. It says it is about 12.6 miles BUT there is no public transportation...a cab will be about 35E
