Does anyone know how long Chateau de Clos-Luce's first floor will be closed for renovation? (I will be there in July). If so, should I skip this chateau? (I understand its history.)

I will be in Amboise in a few weeks and plan to go to Clos Luce.. I'll report back if I find anything about the anticipated completion dates.

I looked at the website and it still looks like the gardens are open. I spent more time there (looking at some of the life size models of Leonardo's ideas) than in the house so I would go ahead and visit.
When you walk up there from the main part of Amboise, make sure you notice the cave or troglodyte homes in the tuff cliffs on the left. People have renovated these into very cool homes!
