Just found out that chateau Chambord is under restoration. Looks like it is all covered by scaffolding. Is it still worth a visit? Any body can provide a latest pics?

Per your link, it’s only the bell towers. We were there last Oct and we barely noticed the scaffolding, the work going on is in a tiny area of the massive chateau.
The webcam shows towers with scaffolding

I'd still go see it
I was there in April and there was a lot of scaffolding. Chambord was not my favorite chateau for many reasons but the scaffolding definitely didn’t help!
Visited the chateau last week. It is covered by scaffolding. :( It’s worth a visit though. The interiors and gardens are beautiful.
Hey, @wolfster which one is your favorite chateau then?
My recommendation is that you visit Chambord, still worth your time.
Chenonceau is my favorite! I didn't get to Chambord when we were there (sick kid cancelled plans) but my family liked it despite the heat as it was July. But we all loved Chenonceau more. The gardens, the maze, the house itself are great.
Visited Chambord last May…there was scaffolding that kept my pictures from being as beautiful as I wanted but still enjoyed seeing it as I don’t plan to go back anytime soon…..Chenonceau is my favorite chateau and we LOVE Villandry…….
For the looks Chenonceau is hard to beat and having a nice story makes it one of my favorites too. I have visited Chambord many years ago and ofcourse you want to see it without the scaffoldings but seeing it last May again it wouldn’t be for me a reason to skip it. However Valençay is now high on my favorite list, not being the most beautiful but from a historical point of view for me one of the best of the Loire châteaux.
Another vote for Chenonceau, it’s my all time favorite, and i love them all.
If you’ll be in Paris, don’t miss a day trip to Vaux-le-Vicomte, my 2nd favorite.
