Has anyone had experience with dropping off a rental car at the Avis in Chartres? It says they open back up at 2pm. Is this exact? We have train tickets to Paris at 2:52. Would we have time to drop off the car at 2pm and make the 2:52 train?

Where is the Avis office? If it is at or near the train station, you should hsve plenty of time. I dropped a car at the EuropeCar office, which is right across from the station and had no problems.
