We are travelling to Colmar, France in October. We no longer drive so would appreciate advice on train, plane or bus to complete our journey to Colmar. We are veteran Rick Steve travelers. Thank you.

We took that route last year. TGV train runs the route 3 times a day (at least it did last year).

At some times of the day you can get a train from Charles de Gaulle Airport to Strasbourg, and a connection from there to Colmar. At other times you need to double-back into Paris. Takes 4½ hours.
