I am going to Dunkirk. I have a fold up bicycle as stored luggage. I was thinking of the omni bus or flixbus from the airport must u reserve in advance or can u book at arrival. You never know how long customs takes. Canadian Passport but coming from Greece. Also what is the landscape for travelling with bicycle from Dunkirk to Caen. Coastal road or main road but not auto Bain. Thank you in advance for any help or suggestions

The fact that they are both members of the Schengen agreement means there is no passport control. The fact that they are both members of the EEC means there are no customs controls. Just like a flight from New York to California.
The fact that you are landing at Charleroi seems to indicate you are flying Ryanair. Pay close attention to their luggage rules, and all their other rules for that matter.

Thank you. Yes I am flying Ryanair. I am paying extra for my stored luggage. Hoping there will be no problem. They do not respond to email. Hard to ask questions. First to e flying in EU

be really sure with Ryanair to comply with every single word of fine print or they will soak you for more money. Don't be late and don't try to print anything at the airport.

Book that bus. Charleroi was chosen for low landing fees, not convenience to civilization.
