The index to my 2015 RS France book doesn't mention Chantilly, but it sounds pretty intriguing, especially the Stables/Museum of the Horse.
Has anybody been there? If so, what did you think?

Chantilly is covered in Rick's expanded Paris book (3 pages, but you'll be fine with the info on their web site). It's been years since I was there, but I recall that I liked the painting collection, too.

I went years ago and would happily go again. I remember it being an easy day trip from Paris.

Chantilly is very lovely, I have visited it a few times and no problem going back again. Nearby Senlis is worth a visit too.
